Frequently Asked Questions About My Voice Over Studio
Although each project is unique, there are a few things all voice over studio have in common. Here are some frequently asked questions.
What equipment do you use?
I record broadcast quality sound in an acoustically treated WhisperRoom™ Sound Isolation Booth with professional-level equipment. Check out the specs below.
When will I receive my audio?
Pending my recording schedule, most projects can be delivered in 24 hours or less. I understand this industry can have tight turnaround times and am happy to work with you to expedite the audio if needed.
Can I listen in and direct while you record?
Yes! I can offer Source Connect, Zoom, Skype, and phone patch if you and/or the client would like to be part of the recording session.
Are any revisions included?
I include one round of pickups – any small portion of the script (one or two words/sentences) you need me to improve on for no fee. After that, if you have any revisions, that would result in additional fees. Please see my policy and fees listed here
What about retakes?
For undirected sessions, where I am recording the files in my studio at my own direction and sending them to you if you need me to re-do lines for performance reasons, I’m happy to do one round of Performance Retakes at no cost.
Do you have a studio minimum?
Yes, for a single spot, regardless of length or usage my minimum is $300.
